Read more Pushin’ Forward is committed to empowering youth through skateboarding by providing safe spaces, structured mentorship, and social-emotional learning (SEL) experiences that build confidence, resilience, and community. As demand for our programs continues to grow, we are expanding into a dedicated indoor training facility designed specifically for beginner and first-time riders—a population often underserved in traditional skatepark environments. We are seeking community support to secure and build out a 3,000–6,000 sq ft warehouse space that will serve as a year-round, weather-proof skateboarding hub for youth and families. WHY THIS FACILITY MATTERS Many kids want to learn skateboarding but lack access to: • Safe, supervised spaces • Beginner-friendly terrain • Positive role models • Programs focused on SEL skills like patience, resilience, self-confidence, and emotional regulation Pushin’ Forward fills that gap by combining skateboarding with mentorship, goal-setting and character development thru our Skate School. This facility will allow us to expand our reach, reduce class waitlists, host school partnerships, and provide a safe haven for kids after school and during weekends. FUNDING NEEDS 1. Warehouse Lease (3,000–6,000 sq ft) • Lease Term: 24 months • Monthly Rent: $6,000 • Total Cost: $144,000This space will serve as our primary home for Skate School classes, private lessons, camps, community events, and other after-school enrichment programs. 2. Beginner-Level Skatepark Build-Out Total Build-Out & Course Design: $250,000 Includes: o Custom-designed ramps, banks, quarter pipes, rails, and obstacles specifically tailored for beginner riders o Soft-impact features for safety o Modular pieces that grow with students’ skill levels o Professional engineering for maximum safety and flow o Branding, flooring, padding, and safety infrastructure o Spectator/parent waiting area This design focuses on low barrier to entry, allowing kids who have never stepped on a board to develop skills in a supportive and risk-managed Environment. TOTAL FUNDING GOAL: $394,000 Your support will help create a safe, inspiring, purpose-built space where youngpeople can learn, grow, and thrive on and off the board.
